Website Security

Internet security is vital. At any moment, you'r website could come under attack leaving you with deleted data, defaced pages and monumental money losses.

SEO Coding

A major part of Search Engine Optimization is how a website is coded in HTML. Special criteria must be met in order for a search engine to to rate you'r content more higher on search results. We offer a basic SEO package that will ensure you'r site is updated to the latest SEO standards.

Scalable Architecture

Websites are living documents. They are constantly changing in their appearance, content, and features offered. Scalable coding standarda allow for new features to be easily added so that you'r website can grow with you'r company. Scalable principles are at the very core of my programming standards.

Optimization Standards

Believe it or not, all PHP code is not written the same. Depending on a programmers experience and knowledge or bad habits, their solution to a problem can be bloated, unstable, and slower than it has to be. With ajaxMonk you will get clean, efficient, reliable code which will result in fast page loading times and better performance.

skillz

michael watson : ajaxmonk@gmail.com : nashville, tn

I architect custom PHP / MySQL based frameworks & systems, custom HTML / Javascript frontend interfaces and fuse them together with AJAX technology. I have been programming for 19+ years ( 7+ years in Web ). My bread & butter is PHP / Javascript, but I am also VERY proficient in the following

  • ASP / ASP.NET (little rusty)
  • HTML 4 Strict / XHTML Strict - Transitional
  • CSS 2 ( excited about CSS3 coming )
  • C, C++, Basic, QBasic, Turbo Pascal

While some PHP coders simply throw Drupal, Wordpress, Codeignitor, Syphony, or some other framework at a project, I refuse to be tied to a single solution for any problem. PHP can be as simple or complex as you like and far too often programmers get lazy and dependent on a single framework, losing the basic skillz and knowledge of how to do things. I have used the above mentioned frameworks and even built a few of my own from the ground up. In the end, they are all fancy ways to code a web-page.

I evaluate the needs of a project first, then architect a custom, clean, scalable, and fast performing solution. All solutions are Cross-Browser friendly ( even ol IE6 ).

I'm a programmer, I deal in 1's & 0's. When it comes to the "look" and style of things, I turn to a couple of friends.
